Domino’s Pizza Box Investigation

Have you purchased Domino’s pizza at any time since 2021 in part due to claims made on their pizza boxes that they are recyclable?  Or have you been fined or cited in any way for attempting to recycle a soiled Domino’s pizza box?

We are investigating Domino’s for engaging in potentially unfair and misleading business practices that may violate California law. Specifically, Domino’s may have misrepresented that consumers may recycle soiled pizza boxes, although many cities throughout California prohibit recycling of food-soiled cardboard. Some cities, such as Oakland, even impose harsh and escalating punishments for placing non-recyclable materials in a recycle bin for collection, ranging from fines of $100 to $1,000 and imprisonment for up to six months after three violations.

If you have purchased a Domino’s pizza or been fined or cited in any way for attempting to recycle a Domino’s pizza box in reliance upon these representations since 2021, we would like to talk with you about your experiences. Please submit your information below if you are interested in discussing your potential legal claims with class action attorney Amy Johnsgard. There is no cost or obligation to do so.
